Staking and rewards

Staking CARDBOARD gives you a proportional share of USDC rewards when the exchange distributes them. A stake does not earn a fixed rate, and past distributions do not predict future income.

Stake and unstake

On Cardboard, claim any tokens you earned from losses, then enter an amount under Stake CARDBOARD. Approve the stake in your wallet. Unstake CARDBOARD returns tokens to your wallet through another transaction. There is currently no lock period or cooldown.

A stake participates in distributions made while it is active. Joining later does not grant earlier rewards. Unstaking stops future participation but leaves rewards already earned available to claim. Wallet transactions and Solana network fees apply to both actions.

Where USDC rewards come from

The current rules route half of collectible trading fees to stakers, with the other half allocated to the protocol's fee recipient. Fees are only set aside when house funds and queue priority permit it. If tracked house profit rises above its configured reward threshold, initially $5 million, eligible excess may also be distributed. The queue has priority over these rewards.

The amount any wallet earns depends on its share of all staked CARDBOARD at each distribution. A chart of staking revenue describes past activity, not a promised yield.

Claim and withdraw

Claimable rewards shows USDC already allocated to you. Select Claim rewards and approve the transaction to move it into your available trading balance. To move that USDC to your wallet, use Withdraw afterward. Claiming rewards does not automatically unstake your tokens.
