Getting started
Cardboard Trade lets you trade BTC, ETH and SOL price movements using USDC on Solana. You can look around without a wallet. To deposit or trade, connect a compatible Solana wallet and create a trading account.
Connect your wallet
- Open Cardboard Trade and select Connect.
- Choose a wallet from the list and approve the connection in your wallet.
- Select Create trading account when prompted. Your wallet will ask you to approve the account setup.
Keep some SOL in your wallet for Solana network fees and account setup. Your wallet pays those costs separately from the USDC you use as trading margin. If no wallet appears, open the app in a browser with a compatible Solana wallet extension.
Add trading funds
Use Deposit in the top bar to move Solana USDC from your connected wallet into your trading balance. The deposit screen also shows your personal USDC deposit address. Check the network and token before sending from another wallet. Deposits must be at least 10 USDC; the first credited deposit has a 1 USDC activation fee.
See Deposits and withdrawals for the full flow.
Find your way around
- Trade shows the market chart, order ticket and your positions. SOL opens by default; use the market selector to switch to BTC or ETH.
- Portfolio shows balances, open positions, trading history and cash flow.
- House shows market exposure, liquidity and the payout queue.
- Cardboard shows your CARDBOARD tokens, staking and USDC rewards.
- Leaderboard shows public trading results.
The Status tab under the Trade chart shows submitted transactions. A changing market price does not guarantee that a transaction has completed; check its status and your position list.
Optional one-click trading
After creating an account, you can enable one-click trading in the order ticket. The temporary key can open and close positions for up to 30 days without another main-wallet approval. It cannot withdraw funds or manage staking rewards. Read One-click trading for its limits, risks, and revocation steps.
