Deposits and withdrawals
Your trading balance is separate from the USDC in your connected Solana wallet. Use the app's Deposit and Withdraw controls to move funds between them.
Deposit USDC
- Connect your wallet and create a trading account if you have not already.
- Select Deposit and enter an amount of at least 10 USDC.
- Check the wallet balance, estimated trading credit and any activation fee shown in the dialog.
- Select Deposit USDC and approve the transaction in your wallet.
The first credited deposit has a 1 USDC activation fee. Later deposits do not repeat that fee. Only send the Solana USDC token shown in the dialog. Sending a different token or using a different network will not create a USDC trading balance.
You can also copy the personal USDC deposit address shown in the dialog and send Solana USDC to it. Incoming transfers of at least 10 USDC are swept into your trading balance. Check that address again after switching wallets.
Funds on another chain
The Deposit dialog's Open Relay bridge link opens Relay with your connected Solana wallet and Solana USDC as the destination. Select the source chain and token on Relay, review its destination address and fees, and complete the bridge there. When at least 10 USDC has arrived in your Solana wallet, return to Cardboard Trade and make a normal deposit. You will need some SOL for Solana transaction fees. The bridge does not send funds straight into your trading balance, and its fees are separate from Cardboard's activation fee. Do not send another chain's token to your personal Solana deposit address.
Withdraw USDC
- Select Withdraw in the top bar.
- Enter at least 10 USDC, up to your Available balance.
- Confirm the destination is your connected wallet, then approve Withdraw USDC.
The app sends USDC to that wallet's Solana USDC token account. Margin in open positions and unpaid amounts in the payout queue are not available to withdraw. If a withdrawal is disabled, check your available balance and transaction status.
Check a transfer
The deposit and withdrawal dialog links to your cash-flow history in Portfolio. The Status tab on Trade shows a submitted transaction's progress. Network processing and account indexing can take time; do not submit the same action repeatedly while its status is pending.
